A.M.A. Counseling Services, LLC is located in the Lehigh Valley in which we serve clients to reach their inner self via the use of therapeutic interventions. In addition to these therapeutic interventions, clients may select counseling services in English or Spanish.
LCSW, PhD Candidate
Gloria has been working in the Human Services Field for many years upon receiving her two Bachelors in Arts Degrees in the area of Psychology and Spanish. Gloria was able to study and submerge herself in the Spanish Culture and strengthen her Spanish linguistics by studying abroad in Spain and in Puerto Rico.
Gloria has received a Master’s in Social Work. Gloria is bilingual and can offers counseling services in both English and Spanish. Gloria has worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples/families, LGBTQ, and immigration issues. Gloria uses various treatment modalities based on the needs of the individual. Gloria provides clinical supervision for professional in preparation for licensure.
Jolene holds an Associate and Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. Jolene has a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling. Jolene is a member of the American Counseling Association.
Jolene’s focus is hypnotherapy, children and adolescents, grief and loss, as well as trauma. Jolene sees individuals that are experiencing depression, anxiety, and life changes. Jolene is a trained in hypnotherapy and is certified. Jolene has many years of experience working with adults, children, and adolescents. Jolene utilizes creative therapies when deemed appropriate; such as play, art, music, and mindfulness.
Jennifer has received a BSW from Cedar Crest College and obtained her Master’s degree in Social Work from Marywood University.
Jennifer has experience working with children, adolescents, and families for several years. Jennifer utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy along with other treatment modalities such as Narrative Therapy and Solution Focused based on the need of the individual. Whenever Jennifer is not working she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and fitness.
Yoly has been a therapist at the office since 2015. Yoly graduated with her Master's Degree in Social Work from Marywood University in 2011. Yoly has many various experiences related to being a medical case manger at an infectious disease clinic specializing in HIV and working for the child welfare for five years through foster care.
Yoly's experience gives her the ability to work with children, adolescents, couples, and families by utilizing various types of treatment modalities based on the need of the individual, couple, or family.
Daniel earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA and his Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL. Prior to graduate school, he both studied abroad and worked in Japan to immerse himself in a culture starkly different from his upbringing in the United States. Since then, he has worked in hospitals, at colleges, and in the field to garner diverse experiences that informed his own development, and in turn, his maturation into a clinical therapist.
Daniel has worked with a wide range of clients of mixed ages and with varying presenting concerns. He is adept at working with clients to manage their mood, unpack their trauma, and find their strength. He prides himself on working with clients who identify within the LGBTQ+ community. His practice is informed by several treatment modalities, including CBT and ACT, and he strives to meet his clients where they are and join with them in their journey through therapy.
The mission of A.M.A. Counseling Services is to provide mental health services, therapeutic interventions, and facilitate referrals throughout the community in order to address patients’ on-going mental health and social needs.
